Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a cloud provider of iPad and Android POS systems for the hospitality and SMB markets. They have over 15,000 customers — restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, and beer gardens in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France. With Europe’s leading payment-led, cloud POS system, they can easily comply with rapidly changing fiscal laws, take mobile orders, accept cashless payments and digitally connect with trusted suppliers. The client is expanding its range of products with the newly introduced solution — the mobile all-in-one cash register. The intelligent Android and iPad solution combines POS software, a card reader, a receipt printer, and a barcode scanner in one device and meets all requirements of the German fiscalization laws.

— Reports to the Engineering Manager of the team.
— Bachelor’s Degree or Certifications in AWS, Linux & Kubernetes.
— At least 2 years experience working with IaC and configuration management tools.
— CI/CD tools, Jenkins.
— Containerization, Docker.
— Experience in automation.
— Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
— Experience in in-memory, relational and NoSQL databases.
— Professional experience in at least one object- oriented programming language (Python).
— English language is a must.
