Full Stack Developer (вакансія неактивна)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Full Stack Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a New York-based software company that operates in four major markets: Cloud TV (that is, OTT) for operators and media companies, online video platform (OVP) offered mostly to media companies and brands looking to distribute content or monetize it, Education Video Platform (EdVP) provided to educational institutions, and Enterprise Video Platform (EVP) for collaboration, communications, and marketing. Their wide array of video solutions is deployed globally across thousands of enterprises, media companies, service providers, and educational institutions, leveraging video to teach, learn, communicate, collaborate, and entertain. A successful full-stack developer is a technologist with a balance of technical depth, creative problem-solving ability, and strong interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for understanding the client’s wide-ranging platform and product suite and using it to create new applications and components that engage and inspire their customers. To achieve this, you will often be a trusted advisor to clients’ business stakeholders and have a tangible impact on their business operations and overall success.

Requirements:
— Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar field or equivalent work experience.
— 3+ years of experience in software development in a fast-paced environment.
— Ability to independently design and develop complex components, dealing with advanced architectural issues.
— A good grasp of web application architecture.
— Expertise in PHP and Node.js.
— Experience solid PHP, strong front-end mindset and capabilities, and the ability to get into huge projects quickly.
— Good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks — React JS/Angular2+/Vue.js (React is a significant advantage).
— Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
— Solid understanding of and experience with modern web technologies.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Will be a plus:
— Experience in designing large-scale enterprise products.
— Knowledge of web-based video streaming technologies.
— Experience working in a Scrum team.
— Experience working in large teams.
— Understanding of Git flow and issue tracking workflow (JIRA).
Interest in engaging with internal and external clients to solve interesting technical challenges. Ability to explain technical concepts to a lay audience.

Responsibilities:
— Create bespoke video platform solutions to meet the business goals of some of the client’s largest and most sophisticated customers.
— Take responsibility for the technical design and delivery of complex, custom video management solutions and applications.
— Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, solution architects, designers, and project managers to solve unique technical challenges and support the client’s users in leveraging video.
— Provide development of new features and maintenance documentation.
