Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Middle Full Stack Developer (Node/Java/Scala) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. The project’s product is a high-performance analytical workbench designed to help data scientists develop and operationalize customer behavioral models and conduct customer journey analysis in real-time. Designed by data scientists, this integrated platform is built on Apache Spark and can crunch over 1000+ business metrics per customer in sub-second response time.

Requirements:

● Minimum of 3 years proven professional experience developing and architecting scalable data analytic applications using JavaScript, NodeJS and related technologies with a complex backend processing system
● Fluency in several programming languages such as Java, Scala, Node, DB is a must with the ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly
● Experience with AngularJS, JavaScript/TypeScript
● Full Stack Development experience required (DB/API/WWW combination)with architectural oversight
● Knowledge or experience of Gradle, GIT, Docker and Jenkins
● Excellent business communication skills

Nice to have:
● Knowledge or experience with Tableau
● Knowledge of BPM workflow systems

Responsibilities:

• Work on a product (MetricScape) and participate in the rapid design and development of sophisticated analytical applications for the financial services industry.
• Work with BigData environments and Data Lake.
• Work on Spark queries and Big Data pipelines.
• Enhance and maintain already existing app.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Provide advanced-level development and documentation skills.
