Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js+Typescript) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is developing a revolutionary recruiting tool that uses Machine Learning to help companies identify which candidates would be the best fit for their job opportunities. — 5+ years of experience with Node.js+Typescript;
— Good knowledge of Express.js framework;
— Solid experience with MongoDB;
— Hands-on experience with Docker;
— Experience with CircleCI;
— Experience with AWS configuration (Terraform);
— Good understanding of Functional Programming principles;
— At least 1 year of commercial experience with React (will be a plus).
— Translate Business and User needs into technical requirements and deliver features in accordance with acceptance criteria;
— Work in a SCRUM distributed team and following all processes in terms of SCRUM framework ( stand up meetings, demos, backlog grooming, retros);
— Close work with a Discovery team consisting of Senior UX lead, Product Manager, and UI/UX designer for generating features backlog;
— Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies.
This role will engage with the Discovery team to refine and implement Epics/User stories according to predefined Acceptance criteria. We have recently instantiated a formal agile scrum process managed via a web-based PM management tool (Clickup) that controls the process and its ceremonies.
A Discovery team comprising of Senior UX lead, Product Manager, and UI/UX designer — grooming a backlog of features to be implemented.
