Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Python) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client empowers the clean energy revolution by bringing community energy programs to local communities. Through its software platform, the client connects residents, businesses, and other consumers with clean energy facilities that lower their electric costs without the need for installations or upfront costs. We’re looking for a Data Engineer who will be working closely with a product owner and product managers at first and then join the Data Science team.
— 2+ years of experience as Data Engineer with Python;
— Experience with GCP ecosystem (Google Compute Engine);
— Hands-on experience with Python tools for data wrangling/transformation (pandas/numpy, geopandas, gspread, matpoltlib, seaborn, plotly/dash , requests);
— Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, BQSQL);
— Experience in sourcing data from google sheets/tables.
— Gathering and Analysing Data from different sources;
— Work with different data sources: SQL and noSQL DBs, BigQuery based tables, Google spreadsheets, web-scraping;
— Combining data into pandas and geopandas dataframes.
— Experience in web-scraping with Beautiful Soup/Selenium/etc;
— Proven experience with GCP data services like Bigtable, BigQuery;
— Bachelor’s degree in IT or Data Science.
