C/C++ Developer (вакансія неактивна)

Sumix is a leading provider of Fiber optic testing equipment — microscopes and interferometers (www.sumix.com). We are seeking a qualified and talented C/C++ Developer with strong knowledge of math to work on the software for our products.

At this position the work is remote with the need to come to the office several times a month to work with equipment or in the Kiev office (right at the Klovska metro station).

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of C++ 11 or newer, including Multithreading. Knowledge of QT and cross-platform development
• Databases: SQLite, PostgreSQL
• Version Control: Git
• Unit testing
• Operating Systems: Windows, Unix/Linux
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical mindset, ability to learn quickly
• Good team player, open mindset
• Intermediate English or higher

Desirable Skills (a candidate should satisfy at least one of the following requirements):

• Strong knowledge of applied mathematics, Algorithms and Date Structures
• Knowledge of low-level programming, driver and firmware development
• Knowledge of signal and image processing
• Knowledge of physical and/or geometrical optics
• Knowledge of Python, including NumPy

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop C/C++ code
• Develop mathematical algorithms with Python
• Requirements analysis, clarification, tasks decomposition and time estimation
• Development of Unit, Integration and Acceptance tests
• Code review
