• Excellent people and interpersonal skills with proven experience of working in a customer & product focussed environment.
• 1+ years of experience as a system/support engineer, working on reliability, high-availability, backup, and recovery. Experience in application configuration and optimisation
• Good experience in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Good understanding of OSI model and network protocols
• Experience in automation using scripting languages like Bash & Python
• Understanding of virtualization and containers (VM, Docker, etc)
• Working knowledge in monitoring tools such as Grafana/Prometheus
• Version control systems such as GIT
• Experience with Atlassian products, specifically Confluence, Jira & Jira Service Desk, both as an end user and administrator

• Primary point of contact for all customer & internal staff support issues and requests.
• Member of rota based 24×7 team.
• Incident management, including service requests, feature requests and co-ordination of any production outages. Monitoring, troubleshooting & fixing failures. Co-ordinating analysis to determine the root cause of failures
• Maintaining support run books and documentation.
• Seeking process improvement and optimisation with automation of common activities wherever possible.
• Close & regular communication with devops & all product streams / teams.
