We are developing a mobile match-3 title featuring a meta-game (farm development, character progression, animal interaction, live events, and complex UI systems).
We are looking for an Art Director who will be responsible for:
- Establishing a cohesive visual vision for the game.
- Quality control across all production stages.
- Ensuring stylistic consistency between all components of the project.
This role goes beyond simply "defining the style"—it requires full involvement in the production process.
Experience
- 4+ years in game development or related industries.
- Proven experience as an Art Lead or Art Director.
- Experience in mobile / casual / mid-core projects.
- Previous experience working on a Live Product is a significant plus.
Artistic Skills
- Strong sense of style and visual identity.
- Expertise in composition, color theory, and form.
- Deep understanding of visual readability.
Game Design Insight
- Understanding how art impacts gameplay.
- Solid grasp of UX and UI logic.
- Awareness of how visuals influence retention and engagement.
Technical Proficiency
- Fundamental understanding of the production pipeline:
- 2D Production.
- 3D-assisted workflows.
- Spine animation.
- UI implementation/integration.
Software & Tools
- Required: Photoshop, Figma (or equivalent).
- Preferred: Illustrator.
- Bonus Skills: Blender/Maya (for 3D workflow understanding), Spine, Unity (or other game engines).
