Senior Data Engineer

We’re excited to offer new team members a sign-in bonus (1/3 paid when you start and the remaining 2/3 after successfully completing the probation period).

Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
• Automate data workflows using Python.
• Snowflake Expertise
• Utilize Snowflake for efficient data storage, querying, and management.
• Optimize performance and ensure best practices in Snowflake-based solutions.
• Cloud Platform Integration
• Work with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and integrate Snowflake with cloud storage (e.g., Azure Blob Storage).
• Data Modeling & Warehousing
• Design and implement data models and schemas to ensure quality, integrity, and security.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand and meet data needs.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Programming:
• Python (5+ years) — Essential
• SQL (5+ years) — Essential
• Database Systems:
• Snowflake (2+ years) — Essential, total DB experience 5+ years
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MS SQL is a plus.
• Cloud Platforms:
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• ETL/ELT Tools:
• Familiarity with data integration tools, Airflow preferred.
• Data Warehousing & Modeling:
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
