Team composition

New position in the client partnership (=AM) department; current team consists of 5 people (CAMO/CDO, 1 full-time CP, 1 part-time CP, 1 full-time CP-A, 1 part-time CP-A).

Qualifications and skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Account/Engagement Manager dealing with US and European clients
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic circumstances and various cooperation formats;
  • Hands-on experience of account management in outstaff/team extension projects
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English (B2 or higher)
  • Great interpersonal abilities to create, maintain and enhance client relationships
  • Technical competence (understanding of software development lifecycle, agile development methodologies and major stacks & services in the industry)
  • Commercial awareness, ability to identify and effectively communicate commercial opportunities
  • Strong service/client-oriented attitude
  • Goal-oriented mindset combined with solid knowledge of managerial processes

Responsibilities

  • Being a point of escalation for issues with team members and/or their performance (including the PM, if any)
  • Building great business relationships with the customer over time
  • Serving as a guarantor of client satisfaction
  • Ensuring proper recruitment process & progress
  • Working alongside client partner associate (-s) to make sure all stakeholders are satisfied with cooperation (client, internal stakeholders like HR, Recruitment, Finances)
  • Taking part in pre-sale and up-selling activities
  • Smoothly taking over accounts from the CDO/CAMO and different, sustain and grow them over time
  • Control over the team’s performance
  • Formation of efficient teams (substitution if needed, team balance, etc.) and ensuring they are financially beneficial for the company (proper margins, predictability)
  • Conflict resolution
