We are looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to become a core member of our new projects.

With our UK client, we are building a new and innovative credit card in-the-box solution: a B2B2C banking platform that will provide card issuance, processing, KYC, IBAN, payments and other FS-related products.

The product has been developed to service the needs of program managers looking for BIN sponsor solutions that are quick to stand up, ensure program compliance, scale worldwide, and give access to the right mix of support and innovation. The product will embed itself across the entire card program lifecycle, ensure speed to market, and allow access to expertise and operational simplicity for program managers worldwide.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role!

Qualifications & experience:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python (data stack, web stack);
• Experience in data warehouse design, implementation and scaling;
• Experience building ETL data pipelines (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc);
• Ability to establish technical requirements and identify possible pitfalls;
• SQL knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) experience building complex queries and stored procedures;
• AWS knowledge (S3, Lambda, RDS, MWAA, IAM, VPC, ECS, Fargate);
• Knowledge of BI tools (QuickSight, PowerBI, Tableau);
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills; and
• Great algorithmic skills.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-a-code tools (CloudFormation, terraform);
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD

What impact you will make

• Quick tryout of new ideas and innovative solutions using the POC;
• Data set analysis, finding relevant insights and hypothesis;
• Build and demonstrate models to prove or disprove the feasibility of an idea;
• Document the research and development process and outputs;
• Investigate, track down and coordinate the intake of data sources; and
• Collaborate with the team members.
