The Opportunity

Our client is a European based leader in the automotive industry. The application you will be working on processes and combines anonymized data from vehicle sensors and other sources. The data is then sent across the company so it is accessible for internal stakeholders and teams. Your task is to build new functionality for exploring and visualising the data in an easy manner. The functionality will be used by data scientists, data analysts and other stakeholders across the company. You will handle a significant part of the product development process and work in close collaboration with the client. As our Product Manager, you will be a part of the community that builds innovative solutions for end users. You will also work with the latest technologies and frameworks. We’ve been working with a variety of companies for years, from startups to corporations. We are looking for a self-motivated problem solver and dedicated team player.

Responsibilities

• Product development:
  
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders to understand end user needs;
  • Ensure full alignment on product vision, goals, priorities and quality expectations of all involved parties;
  • Requirements management (incl. clarification, prioritization and estimation);
  • Work closely with designers and engineers on the best UX;
  • Work closely with Tech Leads to plan upcoming work; and
  • Facilitate product research needed for high-quality decisions.

• Expertise leadership:
  
  • Gain deep domain expertise and product-specific knowledge;
  • Ensure effective information sharing within the project team;
  • Proactive contribution to the domain expertise on the corporate level (Industrial Expertise Teams, Product Community, PMO);
  • Be a product ambassador on professional meetups, business development activities (incl. presales), and corporate events.

Product Champion. You are passionate about building products that customers love. New domains do not slow you down, rather you dive into them with a healthy “challenge accepted” attitude.

Facilitator. You easily capture business and product requirements for complex products, where user experience, business processes, hardware constraints and software integrations unite. Your exceptional soft skills complemented with advanced English and communication techniques eliminate all barriers with international stakeholders and SMEs.

Consultant. An ability to explain technical complexity, challenges and opportunities to stakeholders with different backgrounds is very important. You are sharp-eyed for logical gaps and unpolished design but know how to come up with relevant and optimal business solutions.

Entrepreneur. You are commercially minded and have a strong sense of use cases that lead to commercial success. That allows you to find a “golden middle” between long-term vision and immediate business value, which is crucial for product development and business transformation.
