Our firmware automation department is looking for a highly motivated QA manager who will help manage a team of highly skilled SDETs/Automation Engineers on supporting and testing firmware for products such as cameras (there are already 500+ test-beds in the lab and 1,000+ different test-scenarios, including areas such as audio/video streaming, connectivity, power consumption and stability).
— As a member of the SDET leadership group, you will help shape the team’s go-forward strategy, vision and roadmap for the next
— You will be responsible for tracking/reporting the team’s monthly progress and highlighting any potential risks
— You will closely collaborate with QA and development teams to define the high-level requirements and align on expectations from an automation perspective
— You will represent the test automation results and status on Go/No-go meetings
— 3+ years of experience in leading a QA team including planning and automated testing
— Proficiency in creating test-strategy and test-plans
— Good verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate testing concepts/approaches to a other tech teams, management and key stakeholders)
— Proven experience in test-planning and reporting, including building and communicating test-roadmaps and test-schedules
— Experience with IoT, WiFi, audio/video streaming
— Hands-on experience with automated testing
— Proficiency in any programming language (e.g. Python or Java)
