Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced RF Engineer with strong theoretical skills to support a number of challenging problem-solving tasks and R&D projects. You will have the opportunity to use modern equipment in our radio frequency lab to support various opportunities for design, validation and improvement of solutions. You should be organized and able to take full responsibility during a project’s life cycle.

Responsibilities and Duties

— Support radio subsections for new products, HW design, validation and analysis of existing solutions with complex engineering tools from RF perspective
— Assist with radio interface coexistence implementation from HW and SW perspective
— Support antenna design from mockup to production phase
— Apply propagation and antenna theory for RF performance improvements
— Measure and analyze embedded antennas performance
— Validate RF link performance, quality and reliability
— Prepare and use diagnostic tools and equipment for testing and tuning RF networks
— Participate in firmware development process
— Prepare manuals, application notes and support documentation

Qualifications and Skills

— M.S. in Radio Frequency / Radiotechnics / Radiophysics / Electronics / Telecom Engineering
— Solid experience in RF networks / RF devices engineering (a.g. antennas, filters, amplifiers)
— Solid experience in Electromagnetic Simulation Software for design and optimization of proposed solutions.
— Proven experience in the area of wireless connectivity solutions development
— Deep knowledge of IEEE 802.15/802.11 (including Sub-1GHz solutions), both MAC and PHY layers
— Knowledge of at least one of Broadcom/Atheros/TI wireless stacks is preferred
— Strong spoken / writing English knowledge and communication skills
