General QA Engineer (Python) (вакансія неактивна)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and open-minded QA Engineer to join our team in the Research department. You will have the opportunity to work both with the testing of cloud solutions and participate in the hardware validation process. You will take part in the release of features and products to guarantee quality and raise quality standards. You will also participate in building a test automation framework to support the creation of new products faster and avoid regression, benefiting customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

— Be actively involved in SDLC and the release process
— Perform feature and regression testing of projects at different stages starting from PoC to full production rollout
— Create, perform and support automation tests
— Create and update testing documentation for research initiatives: requirements, test plans, test summary reports, etc.
— Validate and sign-off on new features and internal firmware releases based on testing

Qualifications and Skills

— Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies
— Experience in writing test documentation
— Experience as an Automation QA Engineer (Python)
— Other scripting language experience (bash, shell)
— Advanced level in Unix-based systems
— Experience with DB and SQL
— Familiarity with AWS
— Understanding of network principles
— Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment in a growing company
— Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

— Experience in writing development support tools such as parsers, profilers, automated testing, frameworks, etc
— Experience in setting up automated testing from scratch
— Familiarity with computer vision and machine learning
— Experience in testing ML projects
— Experience with Cloud services (AWS)
— Understanding the DevOps and CI tools (e.g. Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker)
— Experience with mobile testing
— Understanding of client-server architecture and backend testing experience
