We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented and inventive Software Development Manager to lead our Firmware team. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate an understanding of object-oriented design, and be capable of driving the project roadmap forward.
This hands-on position requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of object-oriented software development, as well as demonstrated experience successfully planning, organizing, and conducting software development projects in a dynamic environment.
— Work with the software development team to build technical solutions used to support a variety of product families.
— Instill best practices for software development and documentation.
— Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team, including your own code contributions, design reviews, and prioritization.
— Establish dynamic, achievable schedules for development and ensure execution.
— Support, drive, and facilitate growth of your team’s individual contributors.
— Define detailed technical requirements from high-level product requirements and enable your team to do the same.
— Drive and facilitate innovation within the team.
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
— 7+ years of software development experience, as a developer or manager.
— 3+ years of management experience leading software development teams.
— Strong C++, C knowledge, and CS fundamentals.
— Strong verbal and written communication skills.
— Advanced level of English
— Strong business and technical vision.
— Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
