Spendbase is building a new chargeback automation product that helps companies protect their revenue, fight fraudulent transactions, and win disputes without all the manual chaos.
We’re expanding this direction fast and looking for a Sales Manager who can take full ownership of the sales pipeline and turn this product into a revenue engine.

What you’ll do:
- Own the full sales cycle for Spendbase’s chargeback product: qualification → demo → negotiation → closed-won
- Convert inbound leads from marketing, partnerships, and events
- Actively generate outbound opportunities (ideal client profiles already defined)
- Run discovery to understand clients’ disputes flow, pain points, tools, volumes, and goals
- Explain the value of automated chargeback workflows in simple, non-technical language
- Deliver product demos tailored to specific merchant types
- Collaborate closely with product & compliance to bring real customer feedback
- Build repeatable sales processes as we scale the product
- Report pipeline health, deals progress, and blockers
- Become the internal expert on chargebacks (don’t worry — we’ll teach you)
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years in B2B sales (SaaS / fintech / payments is a big plus)
- Experience selling to Payment, FinOps, Fraud, Risk, or Support teams is a huge advantage
- Strong understanding of revenue operations, billing, or disputes processes — or willingness to learn fast
- Comfortable running discovery, handling objections, and owning the deal until the signature
- Startup mindset: proactive, quick, independent, no micromanagement needed
- Great communication skills and ability to explain complex things simply
- You enjoy talking to customers and closing deals, not endless process bureaucracy
Nice to have:
- Experience with chargebacks, PSPs, gateways, acquirers, high-risk merchants, or dispute tools
- Understanding of Visa/Mastercard regulations (CBK, compelling evidence, reason codes)
- Experience working closely with product and helping shape features
- Track record of hitting quotas in a scaling startup
