Spendbase is a rapidly growing Ukrainian fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize the way companies optimize spending on SaaS, cloud, and corporate cards. We’re a passionate team building a game-changing AI-powered platform, and we’re looking for a Finance Controller to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in our journey.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments like sales and marketing to understand the financial implications of business decisions
• Lead and develop a talented finance team to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
• Stay up-to-date on evolving financial technologies and explore opportunities to optimize internal processes.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned finance professional with at least 5 years of experience in a high-growth tech environment (fintech preferred).
• Proven track record of success in financial leadership roles, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• A proactive problem solver with a passion for learning and staying current with industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• A strong leader with the ability to build, motivate, and coach a high-performing team.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken).
