Lead Java Engineering (вакансія неактивна)

SPD-Ukraine is looking for Lead Java Engineering to work with Fintech-product for the US market. You will drive the team, build new service functionality, and improve or optimize large, complex, actively used existing applications.

You’ll work with the Data Feed subproject, which consists of several areas. PitchBook’s Data Feed Service provides a direct supply of data, tailored to whatever is most relevant to the client. Data Feed is a solution for those customers who require a wide range of information on a consistent basis. Data Feed has an opportunity to provide various datasets from the PitchBook platform in a convenient format. The team is engaged in the preparation and development of tools for obtaining data and publishing datasets.

We are looking for a person who has:

• 6+ years of experience in Java software development
• 2+ years of experience as a Tech/Team Lead
• Experience with Java 11/Java 17
• Experience with Spring Framework, SpringBoot
• Experience with Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiar with ETL, ELT
• Experience in managing and owning project SLA
• Knowledge of how to define and control technical documentation artifacts
• Experience in supervising and coordinating work activities of direct reports relating to people operations processes
• English level: written and verbal skills.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with ElasticSearch or Lucene
• Experience with OpenAPI
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Should be familiar with and follow SOLID and KISS principles
• Know and be able to use design patterns.

• Coordinate work activities in the scope of the project responsibilities.

You’ll work with the following stack:

Java 11+, k8s, Spring/SpringBoot, Open API, PostgreSQL, Zookeeper, JDBC+Jooq, Gradle

Team Structure:

TL + 3 BE, 1 FE, 1 QA.
