We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join us as part of our team.

About the role

As a Senior Back-end / Full-stack Engineer, you will become part of a global company specializing in digital content and gift card solutions. The company’s ecosystem covers the entire lifecycle of gift cards — from issuing and distribution to payment processing, exchange, and refilling.

Beyond gift cards, the business also provides a wide range of digital products including eGifts, incentive cards, promotions, and rewards. To support these services, the company operates several e-commerce platforms and maintains a suite of core internal services responsible for secure and efficient management of gift cards and digital assets.

Tech stack

Java 21, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Spring Data JPA, MySQL, Redis, GraphQL, Maven, AWS (SQS, Kinesis, ECR, Lambda), Jenkins, Docker, JavaScript, TypeScript, React

Work Environment

The role offers a flexible work schedule, 40 hours per week. Standard business hours for the US; adjusted late shifts for Western EU (e.g., 11:00—20:00/21:00), with occasional coverage for urgent issues until 22:00–23:00.

As a qualified expert, You will

• Perform all phases of software engineering, including architecture, development, testing, and deployment, in an Agile software development environment.
• Develop new features using Java as the primary language and JavaScript+React for the front-end part (~80/20%).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and integrate new technologies for product development, recommending enhancements.
• Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and choose the most efficient solutions.
• Manage project timelines effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Focus on continuous improvement of software quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in information security analysis and remediation to maintain high security standards.

We’re looking for you if you have

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a primary focus on Java back-end and additional experience in front-end.
• Experience with e-commerce or payments domain
• Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
• Strong experience with Rest API, GraphQL
• Experience with DB: SQL strong, NoSQL basics, DB performance
• Understanding of reactive programming concepts, async/await patterns, and non-blocking architectures
• Experience in event-driven design using message queues
• Experience in AWS in the role of developer.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies in large-scale projects involving multiple teams and environments.
• Full life-cycle development experience with an Agile/Scrum approach.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a creative problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international team.
• Proactiveness in communication and proposing solutions.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies as needed for business solutions.
• Advanced level of English (ability to communicate effectively with English-speaking team members).
• Solid experience in using AI tools for increasing the performance of software development as well as in support and other operational tasks.

Bonus points

• Experience in implementing web front-end for admin tools using React and TypeScript.
• Experience in Python or other programming languages.
• Experience in creating AI agents
