And now we are looking for a Senior Full Stack / AEM developer to join us as part of our team.

About the project

Big international company whose main business is related to gift cards and their functioning: issuing and distribution of cards, processing of payments, exchanging, refilling, etc. It also operates with many other types of digital content like eGifts, incentive cards, promotions, rewards, etc. The company has several e-commerce sites and platforms that are helping to distribute the gift card products. Also, the company has a bunch of own core services that perform all the management of gift cards in the ecosystem.

Stack: Adobe Commerce (PHP), AEM (Java), JavaScript, ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS, AEP, AWS

Processes: flexible, avg 8 hours in a working day, with possible meetings in the morning of US time zone

Team: 5 front-end engineers, 3 back-end engineers, 2 QAA engineers

As a qualified expert, You will

• Develop a high-load multi-country multi-language ecommerce platform based on Adobe Commerce and Adobe Experience Manager, ensuring that it meets business objectives, customer needs, and compliance requirements.
• Creation of new pages and new features, expanding the site to new locations and languages, migration of other e-commerce sites to the current one.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers in the team to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Work with product owners to prioritize platform features and enhancements based on business objectives and customer needs.
• Share knowledge within a team.

We’re looking for you if you have

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ years of experience working with AEM
• Strong knowledge of Java and Web technologies
• Understanding of Java in the context of AEM
• Understanding of AEM underlying technology stack (OSGi, JCR and Apache Sling)
• Experience in integrations with 3rd party APIs
• Experience working with front-end and JavaScript
• Experience in performance optimization and building solutions with high availability
• Whole life-cycle development experience — with Agile/Scrum project approach
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to details
• Ability to analyze complex systems
• High level of personal responsibility
• Skills of effective and proactive communication
• English — Upper-Intermediate

Bonus Points

• Experience in other languages and platforms: PHP, NodeJS, React
• Experience with any other Adobe Cloud products, such as Adobe Commerce (Magento), Adobe Experience Platform
• Experience in ecommerce or payments domains (orders, transactions, fulfillment, inventory, taxes, etc).
• Experience with DB: SQL, NoSQL (Mongo, Dynamo), DB performance;
