We’re looking for a mid-level backend engineer to build and optimize high-load AdTech services in Node.js. Experience with OpenRTB is a strong plus.

What you will be doing:

• design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js services (ES6+);
• profile and optimize performance;
• extend and refactor existing solutions;
• work with SQL & NoSQL databases: schema design, query optimization, caching;
• write and maintain unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews;
• debug production issues in Linux environments and improve reliability.
  

What you bring:

• 2–4+ years of commercial Node.js experience;
• deep understanding of async patterns, Event Loop, Streams, and GC;
• strong SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL): indexing, query plans, transactions;
• practical experience with NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB) and caching;
• confident debugging (Node.js debugger), solid knowledge of HTTP/TCP;
• comfortable with Linux CLI and Git;
• clean code mindset and attention to performance.
  

Nice to have:

• AdTech / OpenRTB 2.x/3.x (auctions, bid req/resp, schain, ads.txt/sellers.json);
• ClickHouse, Aerospike, Nginx; parallel/stream data processing;
• experience with high-load/distributed systems; Kafka or RabbitMQ.
