We’re bringing SEO in-house and looking for a specialist who can take ownership of the website’s technical health, organic growth, and visibility across both traditional search and emerging AI-driven answer engines. This role combines technical SEO, website performance, and AEO/GEO strategy, with a clear focus on increasing qualified inbound traffic, improving search visibility, and contributing directly to lead generation outcomes.
Part-time cooperation is possible.
Required for this role
- 3+ years of experience in SEO with proven ownership of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, internal linking, and website performance
- Working knowledge of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), including how AI-driven answer surfaces differ from traditional SERPs
- Ability to create and communicate technical requirements for developers, including topics such as HTML, schema markup, and website structure
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/Semrush, and Core Web Vitals/PageSpeed Insights
- Experience monitoring website health, identifying technical issues, and driving improvements based on data and performance insights
- Proven track record of connecting SEO initiatives to lead generation, pipeline contribution, and business outcomes rather than traffic growth alone
- Strong analytical skills, including KPI definition, reporting, dashboard creation, and performance measurement
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority
- Ability to work as an internal subject matter expert and independently own strategy, execution, and results
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B, technology, or IT services environments
- Previous experience in an in-house SEO role following an agency-side background
- Familiarity with CMS and development workflows, including staging environments and Git-based deploys
Your responsibilities
- Own technical SEO audits and continuous improvement initiatives across crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, internal linking, page speed, and Core Web Vitals
- Monitor website health on an ongoing basis, identify regressions, and coordinate timely resolution of technical issues
- Track search engine algorithm updates and proactively adapt optimization strategies to changing requirements
- Measure and improve website visibility across AI-powered answer engines and search experiences, including experimentation with new AEO/GEO techniques
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs for both traditional search performance and AI-search visibility
- Translate SEO and AEO findings into clear implementation tasks and collaborate with development teams to prioritize and deliver improvements
- Partner with content stakeholders on topic strategy, content briefs, on-page optimization, and content refresh initiatives driven by performance data
- Own reporting on organic traffic, rankings, technical health, AI-search visibility, inbound leads, and pipeline contribution
- Act as the internal SEO expert and primary point of contact for SEO and AI-search optimization initiatives
