Lead/Staff Software Engineer (React.js, Node.js) (вакансія неактивна)

We’re looking for a high-level Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js, React.js, Typescript) with a proven experience of staff role: similar to Lead engineer / Competence lead / Technical lead engineer, who is ready to be a front-end voice and decision-maker inside the team.

Our client, a leader in digital accessibility, is growing a key internal platform and is seeking a staff-level, frontend-leaning full-stack engineer to help guide its technical direction. The team owns internal products and shared component libraries that power tools helping customers evaluate and improve the accessibility of their digital products.

In addition to hands-on development, you’ll help shape architecture, mentor other engineers, contribute to technical proposals, and improve CI/CD and team processes. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly support the client’s mission to make digital products more accessible and inclusive.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale SaaS applications
  • 5+ years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and ReactJS
  • Experience mentoring and leading senior developers
  • Working knowledge of WCAG and ARIA
  • Working knowledge of web accessibility
  • Demonstrated work on a product team
  • Demonstrated work on JavaScript libraries, frameworks, or plugins
  • Basic secure web programming knowledge and experience
  • Source code management, pull request reviews, and related
  • Ability to work independently and learn as needed, but also know when to ask for support
  • At least Upper Intermediate high English level

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain TypeScript products, libraries, and APIs that help companies find and fix accessibility issues in their code and on their websites
  • Contribute to our component libraries, following accessible, reusable component best practices
  • Write and review technical proposals
  • Write new features, unit tests, integration tests, and related
  • Assist in the review of pull requests, including security reviews
  • Assist the team in improving processes and policies on a regular basis
  • Help other engineers on the team grow through Open, Direct, and Respectful partnership/mentorship
