Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a specialist to join a team responsible for the design of high performance storage and server systems for the OEM/JDM marketplace.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Engineering or Computer Engineering / Science
• 5 — 8 years of experience in embedded software design and implementation
• Working knowledge and experience on embedded firmware development
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Understanding of the server/storage protocols such as SCSI, SAS, PCI-e, TCP/IP, SMB and I2C
• Competent in scripting languages, Python and Perl scripting
• Excellent working knowledge of various OS (Linux, Windows, Unix etc..)
• Working knowledge of the SNIA Redfish API
• Upper Intermediate English level

Desired skills:

• Good system Hardware/Software integration skills
• Strong communication skills interfacing with colleagues
• Experience in system level problem determination
• SAS Expander Development
• Skilled in the use of SAS Analyzers and I2C bus analyzers.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities include sustaining support of their products in the field.
• The candidate, at times, may work directly with customers to resolve issues.
• Interact with engineers and architects to clarify requirements, analyze problems and perform maintenance on the code.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• The Embedded Firmware Engineer must have strong problem solving and analysis skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
