We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of our corporate website. This is an internal project that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a high-visibility platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Tech. stack: PHP, WordPress, SQL, GraphQL, HTML/CSS/JS, Next.JS, React, SSR, ACF plugin

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,
• Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience (5+ years) working as a PHP developer with a strong focus on WordPress development.
• Extensive experience with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript,
• Experience with Composer PHP
• Advanced Custom Field (ACF) plugin experience
• Gutenberg experience
• OOP, SOLID principles
• English — Intermediate high.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with GraphQL, Next.JS, React, SSR
• WP-CLI, CI/CD experience, Linux (server side) experience, MySQL, TypeScript
• Setting and customization of Apache/NGINX
• Firewall understanding
• Code static analysis tools experience (PHP-CS-Fixer/ PHP-Code sniffer/PHPStan/Psalm/PHPmd/etc.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins to meet project requirements and specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement website features, functionality, and user experience enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform testing, and ensure website optimization for speed and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and implement them as appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
