About the project:
Our customer is a rapidly growing energy consulting firm working with clients on a global scale designing solutions in renewable energy generation (solar, battery energy storage, wind), smart grids, as well as transmission and distribution. They are from Austin, Texas (the USA).

We are building out a microservices platform to support our Utility Clients and we are looking for exceptional Software Engineers to join our team!

The team: 1 UI/UX Designer, 3 React Engineers, 1 Senior Python Engineer, 1 DevOps

Tech. stack on the project: JS (React JS, Redux), Python(FastAPI), PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, ArcGis, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

Requirements:
5+ experience in Design, Development and Deployment of Python web and client applications.
At least one big project (>= 2 years) that you have been a part of from design to completion.
React, Redux, Material UI.
Fluency in any one database technology (e.g. Postgres and/or NoSQL like MongoDB or InfluxDB or Elastic Search)
Broad knowledge and understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience of public cloud offerings (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Docker, Kubernetes, micro-services
Upper-intermediate level of English
Exposure to modern big data technologies — Spark, Kafka (would be a plus).

Responsibilities:
Drive new features from inception to production.
Build reusable component-based web UI architectures with modern frameworks.
Design backend software, assist with technology selection, actively remove obstacles, and write code.
Implement and improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD.
Develop applications using micro-services and other cloud design patterns.
