About the Role

You’ll join the Billing team as a Go Engineer, which is building Billing v2 — a big update to how our subscription system works. There’s no old legacy code to deal with, so you’ll be learning and building on a fresh, modern codebase from the start.

Billing is one of the key parts of our product — it’s responsible for issuing bills, retrying failed payments, managing subscriptions, and helping the company earn revenue.

Your team: 1 Product Manager, 3 Senior Engineers, 1 Automation QA, 1 Domain Analyst.

What you’ll own

• Building automated email reminders that recover failed payments and keep subscriptions active
• Contributing to a new Billing Dashboard where merchants can see their revenue, subscriptions, and payment stats
• Taking part in splitting a payment-retry feature into its own separate service, with a clean API between it and the main system
• Working on the Coupons service — building its new API and moving existing users over to it

You’re a great fit if you have

• 0,5+ year of experience with Go
• Basic experience with databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
• Willingness to learn testing: unit, integration, functional, e2e
• An open, proactive mindset — you like to ask questions, try things, and take responsibility for your work
• Curiosity and genuine interest in learning how a fintech product works
