SOLEAD Software is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team, design and develop a challenging technology product for financial industry.
We are building a large cloud-based software platform for personal financial management for North America market. The platform supports B2C and B2B models to work with financial organizations, professional agents, and end customers. The platform implements complex business logic and financial analysis.
On architecture level the software platform consists of backend (micro-)services in Heroku cloud, adaptive HTML5 UI for different user roles, and robust REST APIs for connection with external systems. The platform complies with security regulations in financial and payment industries, in particular with PCI DSS standards.
The product now is in MVP state and requires further development and functional extension according to product roadmap. We are using Agile and elements of SCRUM. Team collaboration is supported by GitHub cloud environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Dive into the product, build up your domain knowledge
- Design and develop a B2B/B2C software platform for personal financial management
- Interact with tech lead and product owner, proactively suggest improvements and enhancements
- Follow established development process and coding practices
- Become a part of our team, participate in teamwork, help other team members
- Expose initiative and readiness to go the extra mile
Skills and Qualifications
- Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, applied math, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in commercial software development
- Practical knowledge of SOA and MSA architecture and patterns
- Proven skills in backend and API design and programming
- .NET C# programming experience (ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
- Ruby and RoR knowledge is a plus
- SQL database design and development skills (SQL Server, T-SQL)
- Agile/SCRUM knowledge and practice
- Commitment to the job, high responsibility and proactivity
- Strong written and spoken English (B2 or higher)
This is a full-time long-term position in Lviv, Ukraine. For your convenience, we combine work in our modern and spacious office with work at home.
