We are looking for a Lead Java Software Engineer to manage a technical team in cooperation with the Project Manager and help us build functional products and applications. A Lead Java Software Engineer responsibilities will include training and assisting the technical team, shaping development process, dealing with Client and a range of their business partners, delivery of high-quality product per commitment. If you have hands-on experience with leading technical team and programming in Java and are interested in Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll implement and maintain Java components and frameworks throughout the software development lifecycle along with your team. 2-4 weeks onboarding onsite program in Boston, MA, USA or/and Dublin, Ireland with the Client’s team is in place in an effort to meet teammates and get up to speed quickly.

You are the candidate who has:
• Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer, Java Developer or similar role
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Strong experience building Java EE applications (preferably using Java 8, but Java 7 is sufficient)
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, JUnit, bash, ant, Linux
• Knowledge of Ruby, python will be a plus
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A business mindset
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
