Education and degree:
• Master degree or higher in Design related field (desirable)
• Bachelor degree in Design or Technology related field
Specialized knowledge:
• Knowledge of competency model development
• Proficiency in using major UX/UI tools and best practices
• Proficiency in using UX/UI modeling and prototyping tools
• Proven record in creating UX strategies and standards
• Hands-on experience in managing UX/UI practices, consultants and projects
• Proven track record of implementing UX/UI improvements and UX/UI assessments
• Proven track record of implementing UX/UI design on multiple platforms (web, mobility, desktop, tablet)
• Understanding of US and European business practices
• Understanding of industry trends and digital disruption

• Portfolio of design capabilities
• 8+ years of work experience in UX, XD, IXD, HCI, IA, information design, product design, human factors or related field
• Proven managerial experience, managing at least 5 people.
• Experience of working with US/European agencies and clients
• Experience of communicating with clients at the managerial level
• Proven success in team building /management
• Proven success as a team player in a previous position(s)
• Proven communicator/presenter/public speaker
• Technology background (desirable)


• Provide exemplary UX/UI/CX consulting service fulfillment ensuring a high level of customer experience and satisfaction while delivering positive and quantifiable impact on human experiences
• Manage experience design competency at your location
• Standardize and drive design methodology (people, process, tools, workshops, artifacts)
• Develop knowledge and skills of designers
• Propagate knowledge sharing culture within the team and maximize group dynamics
• Lead by example as a mentor and positive role model for your team
• Develop the storytelling and presentation skills of designers
• Actively engage and support global experience design team on pre-sales activities
• Build, nurture, manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, and develop new opportunities and manage the growth of existing clients
• Support Design Thinking education, training, and development initiatives
• Evangelize Design Thinking process by speaking regularly at events and conferences
• Develop thought leadership pieces in forms of blog posts, articles

О проекте

We’re looking for a full-time Experience Design Team Lead to manage and grow a team of 10+ designers in Kyiv as a human-centered design expert, competency manager, digital thought leader, collaborator, and mentor. Report directly to and work with the global SoftServe XD leader to successfully demonstrate the value of SoftServe’s strategic problem-solving skills and thought leadership. Through client work, public speaking and community involvement, serve as a leading example of SoftServe’s Experience Design, subject matter expertise, industry leadership, and digital innovation.
