• Manage and grow teams
• Manage day-to-day operational activities of a project (mainly of a team)
• Assist customer when there is an opportunity to effectively apply project management methodologies and project standards
• Report project status to stakeholders (including high-level status in regards to the client, people, and business development perspectives)
• Manage client expectations related to the team. Monitor and increase client satisfaction. Facilitate client communications
• Resolve, trace and escalate critical issues to minimize project risk factors
• Identify risks, perform qualitative risk analysis, manage risks based on risk mitigation strategy
• Conduct effective performance evaluations for project team members according to HR frameworks. Help team members execute career and development plans. Coach project team members
• Monitor and increase employee satisfaction, conduct team buildings, use recognition and rewards system

Our Client is the world’s largest carpet manufacturer and a leading floor-covering provider. The full-service flooring company has approximately 22,000 employees across the United States, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, India, Mexico, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Client’s facilities are supported by an information systems team of several hundred IT professionals, who develop and manage the key business systems that are used by the company’s staff and partners on a daily basis.
Information systems team is divided into 13 departments responsible for different areas of the business. SoftServe team is assisting most of those departments in their projects.

The team consists of 40+ people across different locations, subdivided into 10 sub-teams of various sizes, working on different projects, with the different set of stakeholders and with a variety of technology.
