About the product
Lantern is a technology assisted classification (TAC) tool that will be used by Qualcomm for the following:

Export Control
Facilitate Qualcomm’s ability to classify files matching export controlled technologies as defined by Export Compliance guidelines. Once metadata is collected by Lantern, Data Experts will be able to access the tool to review files and validate the model generated by the tool and report on results

Storage Reclamation
Facilitate Qualcomm efforts to classify files as defined by Redundant, Outdated and Trivial (ROT) data to reclaim NFS storage. The tool is capable of identification of classification criteria based on Data Experts’ samples and ability to find, report and act on files matching the classification criteria.
