Required Experience / Skills:
- Five or more years experience providing technical support for enterprise software solutions
- Strong Linux system administration skills
- Experience with network administration
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Windows administration (work with one plugin if it breaks down)
- Intermediate+ Spoken English

Desired Experience / Skills:
- BS in information technology related field
- Experience supporting products with TCP/IP and SNMP networking components
- Experience with: Java, Zope, MySQL, WMI
- Experience with systems and network monitoring tool
- Excellent phone and email skills, positive customer-centric attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Organized, self-starter with an ability to follow through on issues under minimal supervision

What you’ll Do:
- Handle more complex customer issues
- Field customer support requests (telephone, web, email), determine problems, and deliver solutions
- Track open customer issues, and communicate status to customers
- Follow up with customers to verify solutions are successful
- Work with our engineering team to develop and test solutions and to install and test new versions of products
- Summarize, communicate and escalate customer experiences

SoftServe team is working as an extension of our customer’s team. This customer is a large USA company that develops enterprise IT infrastructure management software for IT professionals.
This software is an open source IT management solution. Through a single, Web-based console, it enables companies to manage the status and health of their infrastructure.
The power of this application starts with its in-depth Inventory and IT Configuration Database. The resulting configuration model provides a complete inventory of companies servers, network devices, and software applications, down to the level of resource components (interfaces, services and processes, and installed software).
Once application discovers the IT infrastructure, it automatically begins monitoring the performance of each device.
