SoftServe is looking for an experienced Senior MS SQL DBA to join our professional team.

Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior\Intermediate(+) DB Engineer with MS SQL and SSIS packages knowledge and willingness to work with a new start up project with the ability to work onsite.

Project description:
Our Client is a new healthcare company (start up) that specializes in providing support to patients facing a serious illness. The company helps patients and caregivers navigate the healthcare system, and guids them through difficult and complex treatment.
The overall mission of the Client is to develop a common global product platform and technology infrastructure for the healthcare industry.
We need to build and expand platform for Big Data analytic with 1TB structured data with velocity of extra 100 GB every month. This platform should allow us to build fast, secure, scalable and available solutions in a much more efficient way.
We are utilizing power of Azure and AWS as platform for data processing (SQL Server Clusters) and as environments our applications (Elixir, React, Node.JS, Docker, Amazon Elastic Container Service, Compose).

Tools and Technologies:
MS SQL and SSIS packages

Responsibilities:
DB activities (MS SQL Server 2014):
• Write stored procedures and SQL queries according to project needs
• Review and improve query and stored procedure performance
• Implement data quality checks (counts, matching etc)
ETL activities(SSIS):
• Implement new SSIS packages according to project needs
• Review and implement SSIS configurable approach instead of copy-paste approach
• Implement scheduling and automatic execution
• Implement valuable logging
• Implement approach to connect to different custom sources
DBA activities:
• Monitor current DB activities in case of necessary
• Review maintenance plan
