SoftServe Pre-Sales team is a team that works side by side with the Sales team, Delivery Leaders, and Center of Excellence peers to win new logos and extend the existing client portfolio. We qualify early-stage opportunities, analyze their complexity and feasibility, and coordinate the team of technology and business experts to transform raw ideas and approaches into a winning proposal. We help to pitch the proposal to the clients, move it through the procurement gates and ensure a smooth project start.

As a part of the Pre-sales team, you will get a chance to work with the leading industry and technology players, hear first-hand about enterprise technology challenges and strategies, participate in the global multi-discipline deal pursuits, and become a go-to expert on the latest customer insights.


  • Successful in serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team)
  • Accustomed to Cloud, Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies and business solutions
  • Confident while presenting and delivering pitches
  • Experienced in the creation of proposals, presentations, specifications, or to-be architecture visions covering business needs, quality attributes, associated risks, technical and system requirements
  • Successfully leading/guiding small teams to drive them, decompose the complexity of tasks, mentor them and back-up if needed, communicate and convince around that or another decision
  • A holder of BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience and 6+ months experience with Cloud technologies
  • Ideally, AWS or GCP-certified, such as Solutions Architect, Machine Learning or Data Analytics Engineer


  • Identifying and qualifying business opportunities together with Sales, Partnership
  • Defining key customer technical objections and developing the strategy to address business needs for our customers with the focus on cloud technology together with the extended team of technology and delivery experts
  • Business, process, technology risk assessment, defining dependencies and assumptions from the earliest stages of the sales cycle
  • Presenting SoftServe services, technology vision, and commercial proposals to partners and clients


  • Be in constant contact with technology and business executives and managers of top industry players (clients, prospects, partners)
  • Work with Top Solutions architects at SoftServe
  • Participate in client meetings, conferences, international events
  • Collect and share the latest trends and insights ’from the field’
  • Become a Cloud partnership evangelist at SoftServe
