Right since the beginning of our partnership SoftServe has been delivering digital solutions for tomorrow’s needs. We build innovative software and solutions for a wide variety of clients’ products and services, which are tailored to their’s business with our technologists’ industry expertise.

Our client is one of the world’s well-known IT companies, with a portfolio of tools used widely in the IT industry. It is a multinational company with development offices across the world.

Our team is working on nearly 50 different subprojects for this client. Our customer is a technically mature company with huge expertise and innovative approach, widely using new technologies existing on the market.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the leadership team to drive a project/portfolio of projects within the client’s account.

As a Project Manager, you’ll have full ownership of managing the project throughout the project lifecycle.

In addition to common project management activities, the Project Manager will be responsible for establishing customer’s culture, and business etiquette and further fluent navigation in this corporate environment, building close relationships with customer’s stakeholders, and helping drive our customer’s business to success.

YOU ARE

A professional with the following skills and experience

  • 4+ years in project management
  • Possessing hands-on experience in managing a team of 20+ employees
  • Working with big clients, navigating internal politics, managing stakeholders’ interests and expectations
  • Having project ownership in different aspects (budget, scope, schedule, quality)
  • Being a self-motivated, business-oriented, and energetic person
  • Showing outstanding people management and conflict-resolving skills
  • Demonstrating excellent management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams
  • Showing strategic thinking with the ability to transform strategy into actionable tasks
  • Defining client’s business needs and areas for consulting
  • Managing software development teams (Agile/Scrum/Kanban), remote team management
  • Working with remote teams
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level
  • Able to build connection and trust with the team and client in a short-term
  • Good at understanding technical requirements
  • Skilled at multitasking and switching between context

  • Initiating the project, and staff project team
  • Leading a project of medium complexity or several small projects simultaneously and managing all project’s constraints, including costs, and budget
  • Establishing consistent project management processes within the project
  • Motivating, guiding, and encouraging direct subordinates
  • Being responsible for team performance, and personal growth of every individual team member
  • Extending existing business with the customer by knowing the customer’s goals, and objectives, understanding business needs, discovering new opportunities, suggesting appropriate SoftServe services
  • Doing expectations management where the project manager balances the client’s needs and goals with the available resources and constraints
  • Being responsible for communication management uses a range of tools and approaches to ensure effective communication and stakeholder management through alignment of the different goals and needs between all levels of individuals or organizations, involved with the project

  • Different complexity projects, pre-sale processes

TOGETHER WE WILL

  • Establish consistent project management processes within the project
  • Create and maintain the project management documentation
  • Manage the project-related day-to-day operational activities, provide project status reports to stakeholders, including high-level status reports from the perspective of the client, people, and business development
  • Implement and use the best-in-class delivery metrics to reach and maintain a high level of performance
  • Ensure the project-related metrics, such as NPS, ESAT, and the turnover rate, are at the target level
  • Ensure that the project’s financial forecasts are met with expenses managed according to the available budget
  • Coordinate and integrate business development activities across multiple organizational units and divisions at SoftServe
  • Share knowledge and best practices inside SoftServe and account Leadership team and work towards strategic initiatives
