You will be responsible for designing relational databases, microservices, and APIs. Through your work, you will grow expertise in one or more technologies and share your learnings with your team.

YOU ARE

A candidate with the following experience

• 2+ years of large scale, full life cycle development experience
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO design
• Experience with Java, Tomcat, Linux, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Snowflake, and Git
• Familiarity with JavaScript/React, and GraphQL
• The desire to move quickly, and an understanding that done is often a better option than perfect
• Responsible for the quality of code you ship
• Excellent English language written and verbal skills and the ability to make progress on work independently

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Designing and implementing the technical solutions for projects
• Product and design closely teams to define feature specifications
• Providing feedback on best practices and design patterns to your peers in the form of design reviews and code reviews
• Participating in sprint planning, estimation sessions, and retrospectives to provide valuable feedback on the way the team is operating and how it could improve over time
• Developing, deploying, and maintaining implementations of the owner and consumer-facing features
