Although you will be primarily working on Java, you will be exposed to the full stack development, including JavaScript and React, the API layer, and down to the database.

YOU ARE

A software engineer with such experience and skills as

• Readiness to write clean, correct, and efficient code
• Excellent problem-solving ability with effective debugging of complex systems
• Background of web development with Java
• Good expertise in web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, React)
• A concept of Linux, Postgres
• Ability to construct complex SQL queries
• Desire to work with Big Data
• A sense of ownership, urgency, and pride in your work
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Collaborating and maintaining high communication with designers and product managers on a distributed team
• Design specifications review, providing feedback, and estimating the size of projects
• Iteration and breaking down complex projects into smaller components for shorter release cycles
• Participating in design reviews, code reviews, team and QA meetings
• Validating software functionality and security
• And building a trusted relationship with Client

TOGETHER WE WILL

• Code! The project is not overwhelmed with meetings and other not development related activities
• Operate across evolving technology stack — we’re developing in Java, React, SQL, and more
• Touch code at every level — from the UI, through backend microservices, and down to the database
• Collaborate closely with the Product and design teams to define feature specifications and develop high-quality deliverables for our customers
• Support hundreds of thousands of travelers each day booking attractions and holiday homes across the globe
• Help them decide where to stay, how to fly, what to do, and where to eat
• Have fun and friendly environment where the key objective is getting things done
