A Technology team at SoftServe working to make US Healthcare simpler by building scalable and sustainable applications, infrastructure, and interfaces. Our Client, a leading healthcare and insurance provider, will be provided by migration, so we focus on feature development for externally facing products and applications with a massive impact on customer’s business. The above-mentioned applications support interaction with the US government, exchanges, healthcare provider networks, brokers, insurance companies, and much more.

YOU ARE

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a passionate star team, and lead the designs of our Client’s next generation of complex, feature-rich, business services, data pipelines, architecture, and scalable infrastructure.

A holder of the following Skills/Qualifications/ Experience

• 3-5 years working as a Python Developer
• Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks like Flask, working knowledge with both Python 2.x and Python 3.x is a benefit
• Understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Kafka and RPC frameworks like gRPC (beneficial)
• AWS
• The basic concept of front-end technologies like React
• Being both an independent individual contributor and team player with good English communication skills
• Ability to architect creative and maintainable applications across our web and mobile clients. We seek the right balance between moving quickly and improving the operability, performance, and scalability of the systems we build
• Eagerness to collaborate with other Software engineers, product managers, designers, and partners across SoftServe. We believe the best ideas emerge when people share different perspectives and work together

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Participating in all aspects of the software life cycle, including analysis, components design, development, unit testing, CI/CD, and production deployment
• Backlog analysis, estimation, feature decomposition
• Coding on Python, React.JS, working with databases, GCP, and other related technologies
• Communicating and collaborating with internal and client teams for requirements estimation, design, and code reviews
• Leading the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects
• Participation in Scrum meetings, together with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems
• Implementing step-wise technical migrations of our Client’s existing applications
• Producing technical design, test, and launching of planning documentation for complex projects and/or projects with complex dependencies
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing production issues as they arise
