Softjourn is looking for a Senior Java developer to work on a ticketing project!

About the project:

One of our existing clients acquired a solution which is planned to be a part of the main client’s business. The goal of the project is to finish the upgrade from the 2.3 Grails version to 4.x with all the code changes required, so the solution will be fully working on a new version of the framework.

We are almost done with all planned tasks, but we are looking for a Senior Java developer for finished all of them. It can be as a part-time and full-time involvement as well.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Java 7.52.0.11 and JDK 1.7.0_332;
• 3+ years of experience with Grails v2.3.11 and higher versions;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Verbose Plugins, tomcat 7.0.54;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with asset-pipeline 1.8.3, cache 1.1.1, mail 1.0.5;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with spring-security-core 1.2.7.4;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with AWS-SDK 1.5.6;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with ic-alendar 0.3.7;
• Experience with export 1.5, scaffolding 2.0.3, rest-client-builder 2.1.1;
• Experience with mail-on-exception 0.1.1, hd-image-utils 1.1
• Experience with database-migration 1.4.0;
• Experience with hibernate 3.6.10.16;
• Excellent knowledge of OOP, applying optimal architectural solutions and coding principles;
• Intermediate English level and higher.

Responsibilities:

• Continue and finish the transition of the project to the Grails 4.x;
• Bugfixing;
• Investigation of the issues and blockers, if any, resolving them;
• Communication with the client and the team.
