About the role:
We seek an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director to join our ambitious aerospace and defence client company. As Marketing Director, you will oversee and execute our marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. You will lead a team and work closely with various departments to develop and execute marketing campaigns, manage events and exhibitions, improve our online and in-market presence, create compelling content (including video content), optimise new customer acquisition through marketing materials, and coordinate press coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our products and brand effectively.
- Manage and lead a marketing team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Plan and coordinate industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase our products and engage with potential customers.
- Enhance our online presence through website management, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media channels.
- Create engaging content, including written and video content, for marketing materials, our website, blog posts, social media, and other platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to craft marketing materials that align with sales objectives and streamline the onboarding process for new customers.
- Coordinate with the PR team to ensure effective press coverage, manage media relationships, and maximize brand exposure.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Work in a hybrid schedule, with required presence in the office in Kyiv for in-person communication with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in technology or aerospace sectors.
- Full professional proficiency in the English language (minimum level C1), additional language proficiencies are a bonus.
- Solid experience in managing events, expos, and trade shows.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, and content marketing.
- Proficiency in creating and leveraging video content as a part of the content strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for crafting persuasive and compelling content.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive results, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to develop marketing materials and streamline customer onboarding.
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to work closely with PR teams to secure press coverage and manage media relationships.
- Proficient in using marketing tools, analytics platforms, and project management software.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
