SoftConstruct Technology Holding serves on five continents and supports 500+ partners operating in the European, American, and Asian markets. Each partner must collaborate with internal teams, HQ, accounting team, and sales offices to grow and sustain and ensure each partner’s quality integration and collaboration. SoftConstruct launches a new product — Messenger, with the goal to connect thousands of people in a single network.

About the project and team:
Join the team to create a brand-new messaging service. Highly scalable backend and cross-platform chat application where you can make audio and video calls, send instant messages, upload files, and much more.

Technical Stack:

• Golang
• Kubernetes, Docker
• Redis
• SQL/NoSQL DB
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
• Google Cloud

Must-haves:

• Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms;
• Understanding of database technologies: SQL/NoSQL;
• Good understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.);
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Good understanding of distributed systems (microservices, reliability, scalability, data consistency, etc.);
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in leading the team;
• Understanding how to build high-loaded systems;
• Experience in building messengers.

Main responsibilities:

• To lead first backend team;
• Be proactive and responsible. Challenge technical decisions in order to achieve the best results;
• Collaborate with engineers from the other technical stacks to adopt the best approaches from the different technologies and paradigms;
• Offer technical improvements, provide a feedback;
• Be able to solve complex engineering problems independently;
• Mentor and review the code of the teammates.

• Annual leave: 20 working days per year;
