* 3 to 5+ years of design experience. Design work on web-based (SaaS) applications a strong plus
* Fluent in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), Sketch, Adobe XD, UXPin, InVision etc.
* Very strong english speaking and writing skills
* User-centric mentality and passion for building products
* Ability to follow established UI and design systems
* Comfortable giving and receiving critical design feedback
* Strong curiosity and drive to understand how things work, envision how they might work better, and translate that vision into a compelling user experience
* Skills in conceptual design and familiarity with high-level deliverables such as wireframes, scenarios, personas, flow diagrams, etc.
* Knowledge of web based technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery a strong plus
* English — excellent written, other skills Advanced or higher

* Knowledge and good understanding of different Financial Markets

* Ability to take feedback and collaborate with business and technology teams to design and deliver great user experiences
* Work with business analyst and other designers to gather project/task requirements
* Be involved in QA of the implementation to make sure dev is in-line with designs
* Produce high fidelity designs for dev team
* Coordinate and execute user research efforts (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.)
* Ability to communicate design decisions to stakeholders and peers
* Develop expert knowledge of industry, competitive and complementary products
* Drive initiatives to create value and increase operational efficiency
* Identify opportunities for improvement and implement appropriate solutions
* Additional duties as assigned

SmartTrader is currently searching for a UI/UX Designer.
We are looking for a UI/UX designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes and QA. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience. Projects include new features and enhancements to the web-based SmartTrader applications, but also work on the company website.
