Junior Power Apps/Power Automate Developer

SMART business invites students and graduates of technical and economic specializations with at least Intermediate level of English, able to think logically, to join our friendly team, which highly values ​​hard work, dedication and willingness to learn. You can join the SMART business team by completing the SMART academy: Junior Power Apps/Power Automate Developer educational program.

Since there are no identical business processes, it is necessary to be able to customize the logic. Power Apps/Power Automate let you quickly create custom apps for a variety of business needs. For this, the built-in Power FX programming language is used. You’ll also create integration and interoperability scenarios using the Power Platform ecosystem or Azure services.

SMART academy provides education in many areas. Traditionally, the company selects the most promising candidates and invites them to a paid internship, which is conducted by senior developers and system architects in the SMART business office or remotely.

Students pass the Power Apps/Power Automate development learning plan, after which they are asked to solve several tasks and implement the project.

Based on the results of the training, SMART business makes a job offer to successful candidates in the role of Power Apps or Power Automate Developer.

Skills required:

• Higher technical or economic education (3-6 year students or graduates, switchers)
• Knowledge of any programming language
• Experience in developing any applications
• Desire and ability to learn Power Platform technology
• Desire and ability to get Microsoft Power Platform certification during the internship
• Capacity for system analysis and ability to think logically

Will be an advantage:

• Hands-on experience with Power Apps/Power Automate
• Experience with SharePoint, Git (Azure DevOps/Github)
• English (at least Intermediate level)

Personal qualities: responsibility, communication skills, proactivity, diligence, ability to learn quickly, result-orientation and teamwork.

Functional duties:

• Learning the basics of Power Apps/Power Automate and passing the MS Power Platform certification during the internship
• Development of solutions based on Power Apps/Power Automate under the guidance of a mentor
• Evaluation of the tasks set, taking into account the existing functionality of the system, choice of approaches to implementation and analysis of alternative solutions
• Creation of design and optimal code for a given task, ensuring integration with existing functionality, as well as the overall integrity and efficiency of the system
• Maintenance support (detection and correction of errors) for completed tasks at the stages of their testing and use by the customer
• Creation of a documentation package for the developed modifications
• Completion of work on time, reporting on the work done in accordance with the internal procedures and methodologies of the company
