Project Manager — Global Marketplace (Spanish and English) (вакансія неактивна)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of a new, large-scale, multi-vendor B2C marketplace. The project will initially launch in Mexico with a strategic vision for global expansion. You will be at the forefront of building a secure and user-friendly platform that connects a wide range of sellers with buyers, featuring flexible payment and delivery solutions.

Engagement: Part-time, 6+ months

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project from concept through MVP launch and future scaling.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps.
  • Manage a distributed development team, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflows.
  • Oversee system integrations with CRM, payments, ERP, and logistics partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international stakeholders, facilitating communication and negotiations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.з

Qualification:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale e-commerce or marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, Mercado Libre, Shopify, Etsy).
  • Strong technical understanding of marketplace architecture, including catalogs, carts, multi-vendor flows, payments, and logistics.
  • Experience managing distributed development teams.
  • Solid background in system integrations (CRM, payments, ERP, logistics).
  • Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in fintech or payments, especially within Latin America.
  • Knowledge of legal and tax frameworks for e-commerce in multiple regions.
  • Hands-on experience launching a marketplace from zero to MVP and beyond.
