About Sky Fortress

Sky Fortress is a Ukrainian engineering company that designs and develops complex electronic systems and integrated hardware-software solutions. Our team builds high-reliability products that go through certification and industrial testing before production launch. We are looking for a Technical Writer who can create and maintain structured technical documentation — product passports, specifications, and manuals — in close collaboration with engineers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for electronic and mechanical products: Passports, technical specifications, data sheets, operation manuals, assembly guides, and test reports.
• Prepare documentation packages for certification and compliance with national and international standards.
• Collaborate with design engineers, technologists, and quality teams to describe system architecture, components, and functionality.
• Ensure all documents follow GOST, DSTU, and ISO formatting and terminology standards.
• Maintain consistency, version control, and structure across the company’s documentation base.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience preparing technical documentation in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and product specifications.
• Familiarity with ukrainian DSTU and ISO or other certification documentation standards.
• Excellent command of Ukrainian, confident English (Intermediate+) for technical terminology and translation.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Google Docs, PDF editors, and document templates.
• Background in electronics, mechanics, or related engineering fields.

Nice to Have

• Experience preparing documentation for product certification or testing.
• Knowledge of industrial or electronic equipment production processes.
• Understanding of the full product lifecycle — from design to production and maintenance.
