In order to shape payment software of SIXT SE

we are searching for experienced Java engineers who love designing, building and managing complex systems.

Core project essential to the business’s payment transaction system. This involves integrating with multiple payment providers and implementing a comprehensive payment platform to streamline and enhance the overall payment processing capabilities of the business.

Key Skills:

• Java — at least version 8

• SpringBoot

• Strong knowledge of OOP principles

• Experience with microservices

• Relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)

• Message brokers: Kafka, SQS or similar in the context of event-driven architectures

• Container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS (basic usage)

• Upper-intermediate English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the payment domain

• Experience of integration with payment providers

• ElasticSearch, Grafana, Instana

• Event streaming

• AWS Services

• Experience with work in geographically distributed teams

• Experience of POS terminals integration
