We’re looking for an Android Engineer to design, code and manage Similarweb’s large-scale and highly available services, using cutting-edge technologies & design. This role will report to Team Manager, R&D.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the R&D team means your daily responsibilities may include:

• Write high-quality, functional code for mobile applications
• Own & maintain high-quality backend infrastructure to support our mobile products
• Own end-to-end mobile application development process, including:
• building applications
• testing them and uploading new versions to app stores
• Write automated test
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and receive/ give feedback from team members
• Take part in design & decision making

This is the perfect job for someone who:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Android development
• Deep understanding of MVVM design pattern
• Experience with Kotlin, JAVA, coroutines
• Have recent experience working on at least one app which was published to the Playstore.
• Experienced with automatic testing frameworks.
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Compose
• Experience with Google Billing API
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks
• Experience with analytical frameworks (Mixpanel, Appsflyer, etc)
