• Knowledge of operating systems: Linux, MacOS, Window
• General knowledge of ISMS / ISO 27001 & 27002, IT security assessment and security audit techniques
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security standards such as the GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS and SOC I/II, SOX
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks such as CIS, COBIT
• Experience in creating, implementing, and controlling IT security policies
• Experience working with cloud providers
• Knowledge of principles of IT systems and system architecture
• Understanding of software development principles
• Possessing demonstrable skill in one or more programming languages is a must (BASH, Perl, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.)
• Must possess demonstrable knowledge of modern cryptography (experience with encryption algorithms and protocols like RSA, SHA, Kerberos, AES and SSL/TLS, Experience with PKI implementation is a plus)
• Able to evaluate threats and vulnerabilities for applicability across the enterprise
• Understanding of core IT security and architectural components: firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, authentication, encryption, IPS, traffic management, storage, databases, virtualization, automation, configuration management
• Ability to analyze firewall and IPS rule sets for weaknesses, compliance requirements, and effective security control
• Hands on experience with various IDP/IPS, Netflow and protocol collection and analysis tools such as SNORT, Suricata, Bro, Argus, Silk, TCP dump, and WireShark
• Knowledge of OSI network protocol stack, including major protocols such as IP, ICMP, TCP, SMTP, UDP, HTTP(s), and SSH
• Experience in recommending security controls for network
• Working knowledge of SIEM solutions like SPLUNK or ArcSight
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
